I'm sorry. I thought 35 years would have explained that. I've never hit my wife. Believe me she knows how to push the buttons. Even strikes me at times. I may not be much of a man but I'm man enough to walk away. I have a 14 year old that explained the world problems to me one day. Most boys of today will not be half the man their mother was when they grow up.

@Butch...thats great that you both have been married for 35 yrs. I commend you both. However, my comment wasn't at all about your marriage or finances. I was asking if you feel its necessary to beat your woman or do you believe that for any reason a man has the right to put his hands on his woman.

Let's see LAY. I've been married for 35 years. That in today's society should stand on it's own. Even with my criminal back ground. Granny is also a black belt. Then we don't even have a credit card. We own everything we have outright but a 2009 chevy that will be paid for in may. We are far from rich. But we choose to discuss every dime we earn and how to spend it together. Saves problems.

@ Butch...So is it a fair guess that if your girlfriend/wife over spent on a credit card or did something that you disagreed with, you'd give her a beatdown? Just wondering?

@ the lay. Take mine. I don't wait on the law. I'm what's called a self help person. My parents taught me right from wrong and that wrong meet with quick punishment.

@ Butch...So with assuming she spent to much on the credit card ( because she is a woman and all of us women do that) gives him the right to beat her. Thats horsesh** and it takes two to use the card. We don't know what the argument was about and who cares. NO PERSON, man or woman has the right to put their hands on anyone. Any man who feels he needs to beat his woman is a P***Y and a coward. @ ArYankee....the story doesn't read this is her second child. If they have a credit card its fair to say they may have Ins. through a job and may not be on medicaid. Not everyone is on welfare...just saying
