Updated: Police Have Suspect in North Little Rock Stabbing Death

The filing of charges against the unnamed individual will be decided by the prosecutor's office.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - The North Little Rock Police Department has identified a suspect in a Monday night homicide.

Police say the stabbing death of Aaron Shells, Jr., 35, was the result of a domestic disturbance.

The suspect's name has not yet been released by the NLRPD, which says it's case file will be forwarded to the prosecutor's office to determine the filing of charges once its investigation is complete.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - A man has died after a stabbing in North Little Rock.

It happened Monday night just before 10 o'clock in the 4900 block of School Street in the Rose City area of town.

The victim has been identified as Aaron Shells, Jr., 35, of North Little Rock.

Police say he was pronounced dead after being taken to the Baptist Springhill hospital.

The North Little Rock Police Department's Investigations Division is in the process of interviewing several witnesses to the incident.
