i hope this gets treated as any other murder in the state. this guy needs to get a lot of time. i dont want this turning into a race thing. it appeared that we were heading down that road. being black i do get sensitive when things look like they are going to be racially charged. i am sick of racism. just prosecute him as a murderer who killed a young man that had a future outlined and was working toward his goals in life and i will be satisfied with that.

My guess is he has friends or relatives in Lonoke County law enforcement, or in the county judicial system. That's why ASP had to come in and arrest him. Just a guess of course. The good ol' boy network protecting their own.

You are right ArkYank, the Lonoke Co. Pigs like to run straight to the media when they pop someone for a couple of joints but tried to keep it quiet when they had to call in the ASP to catch this fat little methbilly

As a resident of Ward, my biggest question is why didn't the Ward Police Department do their job in the first place? My guess is that its probably jurisdictional, but the complete lack of any information on a murder in such a small community, and the fact that they had a suspect from the get go doesn't fill me with much security.

Yes the thugs and scumbags come in all colors!!!!! This is a prime example. May Jr. R.I.P now that his killer is caught. I'm glad the family can now have some closer in knowing their sons killer is behind bars and I hope this POS gets what he deserves.

Strange; ASP made the arrest, and not the "authorities" of Lonoke County. I guess they are too busy busting older men growing a couple of plants. They are probably still thumping their chests over that huge drug bust! Yes lovebug; it took them long enough! Yes leemar; thugs and scumbags come in all colors.
