POTEAU, Okla. (AP) — Authorities in Oklahoma have arrested a 26-year-old man on two first-degree murder complaints in the death of a 20-year-old woman who was pregnant.

LeFlore County Sheriff Bruce Curnutt says authorities arrested Christopher Kenyon Simpson of Fort Coffee late Thursday. He's accused in the April death of Kaloni Flynn, who was living in Fort Smith, Ark.

Authorities tells the Southwest Times Record (http://is.gd/Bn1c3B ) that Flynn was 12 weeks pregnant at the time of her death, which is why Simpson was arrested on two murder counts.

Flynn's body was found inside a car between Spiro and Pocola on April 9. Authorities say she was shot to death.

Simpson is being held without bond. Authorities did not know if he had an attorney.

conniesb; I was wondering the same thing. Every time someone murders a pregnant woman, they are charged with two murders. But like you said, mommy's and doctors kill children all the time, and it is legal for some odd reason. God says He knew us before we were in the womb; that means we are all human beings from conception; so why isn't abortion murder? Don't ask me, ask the "High" Court ( they gotta be high on something! ).

It amazes me how someone can be charged with murdering an unborn child in a case like this but doctors do it everyday and it's legal.

I bet not one central Arkansan knows the history of Ft. Coffee and the people that live there or how that land was purchased. Or the trash that owns rent houses there! Skeltons!

If you can't handle being a father, keep it in your pants. People have become crazy mean in these last years, do like I do take medicine for problems with anger and leave others alone. My sentiments for the young ladies family and may God have mercy on the one who did it.
