NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - Pulaski County deputies arrested a man they say is responsible for a fire that destroyed a body shop on Hwy 161. They say he was also driving a stolen truck at the time the fire was set.

According to the incident report, a deputy responded to 6727 Highway 161 at 6am Wednesday after a report of a fire. The deputy says a pickup truck with no license plate was near the building with a trail of gasoline from the gas tank towards the building.

The deputy confirmed the truck was stolen.

Robert Heath arrived at the scene after a passerby had taken him to a gas station to get gas for the truck which he said was out of gas, according to the report. He told the deputy he had just purchased the truck.

When the owner of the body shop arrived, the report says he noticed some items in the back of the truck which had been inside the building.

Robert Heath, 31, was arrested and charged with arson, commercial burglary and theft of property.
