Man shoots someone, then turns gun on himself

Just after 10:30 Thursday night, a man walked into the Exxon on Hwy 270 in Mt Ida and shot an employee. He then turned the gun on himself.

The Montgomery County sheriff is not releasing the names involved at this time.

This is really a sad event for Mount Ida. I live not to far from where this took place. I am praying for the victim. God have mercy on the shooters soul because he will need it.
