Man takes plea deal in Conway upskirt case

CONWAY, AR – A man charged with harassment after he was caught on security cameras taking upskirt pictures has taken a plea deal.

According to reports, Michael Rush was charged with harassment after he was caught on security cameras at the Walmart on Skyline Drive in Conway taking pictures up the skirts of women who were shopping. Rush plead guilty to two counts of harassment.

Conway District Court Judge Amy Brazil sentenced Rush to 180 days in jail, with 150 suspended. Rush is to have no contact with the victims, is not to enter a Walmart store for a year, and must continue his work in a 12 step program. Rush will serve his jail time on the weekends starting October 5.

So now he'll just have to find his victims in Target, Kroger, the post office, any other public place where women are? His "punishment" is a joke.

How is this even a punishment? How is this lack of justice supposed to discourage other peeople from committing these kinds of acts in the future?
