LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Sen. Mark Pryor of Arkansas is hosting his first-ever Twitter town hall this week to talk about the fiscal cliff.
Pryor's office said the Democratic lawmaker will host the town hall on Thursday and invited Arkansans to tweet him questions using the hash tag (hash)AskPryor.
The town hall will begin 1:30 p.m. Pryor's Twitter handle is (at)senmarkpryor.
Simultaneous tax increases and government spending cuts, known collectively as the "fiscal cliff," are set to take effect Jan. 1 unless Congress and President Barack Obama reach a deal first. Pryor is serving his second term and announced earlier this year he would seek re-election in 2014.
