McCready’s boyfriend dead at age 34

LITTLE ROCK, AR – David Wilson, the boyfriend of country music star Mindy McCready, died Sunday night in Heber Springs, according to the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies from the sheriff’s office and North Star EMS responded to a call of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a home on Fox Chase Road in Heber Springs. Wilson was taken to Baptist Hospital and was pronounced dead a short while later.

McCready and Wilson have a 9-month-old child together.

Statement from McCready:

"Today, we mourn the loss of my life partner and my children's father, David Wilson. David was my soulmate; he was a caregiver and guiding hand to our sons, Zander and Zayne. He was a precious gift from God to all of us and, yesterday, he returned home and is now with his mother and father. David loved and he was loved. Those who knew and loved him will miss him; those who did not know David, missed the opportunity to know a truly loving and gifted man."

dont care sorry, make a song about it lady get more money find a new guy (like you dont have one already). he didnt kill hisself caus he was over loved. well maybe he did but i dont think so.

Is this the father of the same child that McCready allegedly kidnapped awhile back? Something tells me that all of the story is not being told here, but I may be wrong. I feel for his family and friends that have to grieve his loss. I cant speak from experience (because I'm still alive) but I would find it hard to take my own life over something. But like I said, I have never had to face some of the problems other have. Who knows. All I know is he will have to answer for this when he meets his maker.

It is so sad when someone takes their own life. He must have felt like he had no one. He might have suffered from depression and not the fake depression that many people claim to have, probably for the medication. Real depression is indescribable. I feel so bad for his loved ones he left behind. Prayers.

He left what he thought was hell here and went to a literal hell. Not a smart thing to do.He will wish he had a do over.

Yea really..... He loved them all so much he felt the need to put his family through a life time of living hell. Boy!!! If thats love I would HATE to be some one he hated. Sorry for the family and friends. But guy's... Divid had some real problems that evidently he didn't let his loving family know about.

OK...in the video they say he committed suicide. What a jerk. Hope his problems were bad enough to warrant him committing suicide in his home...since he was such a loving person. R.I.P.

Had it been accidental, they probably would have said so. If he was so wonderful, what was his problem? SORRY FOR HIS LOVED ONES....MAY THEY BE IN PEACE AND GOD BLESS THEM.
