Medical Marijuana Ballot Proposal Rejected

The ballot title proposal can be altered and resubmitted.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- The Arkansas Attorney General has rejected the ballot title of a medical marijuana initiative submitted by the group Arkansans for Responsible Medicine.

Dustin McDaniel's office cites the reason as "ambiguities in the text of the measure." Click here to read his full opinion.

The ballot title proposal can be altered and resubmitted.

The opinion isn't meant to represent a legal interpretation or reflection of the merits of the effort, it is only meant to be sure the title is clear, accurate and representative of the intent of the legislation.
