Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee stopped in Little Rock to promote his new book A Simple Christmas and talked to FOX16 about his plans for 2012.

"It's really appropriate for those who are struggling people, who may have lost a job or looking at less income saying, I can't afford a major Christmas. So the idea of A Simple Christmas is this, the power of Christmas is not what but who," says Huckabee.

Something else on the minds of many Americans this holiday season is the future of their health care. The health care bill is heading to the Senate floor for debate and Huckabee says he is against government run health care.  "The public option is a terrible idea because what it will do is it will force everyone into that government controlled program. People say, oh no it won't. Oh yes it will."

When asked if he is seeking another run at the presidency in 2012, Huckabee replied, "Who knows, and I really don't. I'm not trying to be evasive, but first we've got to get through these elections, midterms and see how those turn out. I'm going to be helping a lot of people across the country who are running for congress, senate or governor."

Huckabee's book tour continues in Hot Springs this Friday.
