Roadking, learn how to drive before getting into a car and those that ride wont have to worry about getting hit by a dumbass like you in a car. It isnt so much the stationary objects that motorcyclists have to face, its the stupid asses in four wheeled vehicles that think they have to drive like a bat out of hell to get no where fast. As the signs say, "look twice, save a life. Motorcycles are everywhere."

Tex; I couldn't agree with you more. Welcome to an ever growing club of people that agree with your last sentence. ( I'm guessing you are an Airman; he hates veterans ). Roadking; you aren't serious are you? Not just cages; but gravel, sand, oil in the road. Weather conditions. ( Going into a curve on a wet road has been the closest I've come to laying one down ). As Butch pointed out - mailboxes and embankments. Trees and telephone poles have taken their share of riders also. Experience is a wonderful thing to have; but it's not going to always keep you safe; I've seen many a brother and sister go down, and they were not lacking in experience. Ride safe all!

Fly boy if you read the two fatal accident reports this weekend they were accidents with motorcycles. There wasn't a car in the report in them. So I would figure a motorcycle can be taken out with an experienced rider without the four wheeler. They say a brick mail box and running up a ditch into an embankment can get them too.

I rode for years. Had one accident. 2,3 and four wheelers. The only way I knew how to ride was with wild abandon. Always wore a helmet. When I crashed i was left with a headache and a helmet cracked three ways. Sometimes I wonder if I would have been here without it.

Roadking, your statement is pure ignorance. Even the most experienced rider can be taken out by a 4 wheeler, and even with a helmet on. Dude III is just wasting precious oxygen.
