LITTLE ROCK, AR – A man suspected of breaking into the home of 38-year-old Calvin Watson and shooting him to death in 2010 was arrested and charged with capital murder on Monday.

30-year-old Montrell Burton is currently in the Pulaski County jail on no bond.

According to the police report, two men kicked in the door of the home at 505 W. 31st Street just after midnight on November 10th in a robbery attempt. Watson struggled with one of the suspects, who shot him several times. Watson was found on the ground outside of the home on 421 W. 31st. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

According to Watson’s girlfriend at the time, the two of them had just moved into the home and were sleeping at the time of the attack. The police report says Watson had nearly $3,000 in the house, which the girlfriend took out of the house shortly after the invasion.

Thug life that push's their will upon people, think society owes them and they do not need to work for what they need. When the justice system apply s stricter punishment on these thug then crime will go down and in this case, death penalty is in order.

Yet another piece of trash to waste my tax dollars on housing, food, medical, etc. C'mon Arkansas, get off of your bleeding hearted butts and get on with sentencing and carrying out the death penalty.
