You can drive up and down Little Rock streets anytime at any hour speeding and doing anything else you wish and the chances of a Little Rock Police Officer stopping you are very slim.. Do the same thing in Bryant and see what happens!!

golfdude; I read that somewhere also; but I'm with itsjustme - let 'em have one appeal, pay for it themselves; and if they lose; then carry out the sentence; if joy juice isn't on the plate ( thanks to the Arkansas "High" court ); then there are many other options.

The expense of death row would not be as high as it is if the criminals didnt sit there for 20 years appealing. Its rediculous the lenght of time they sit there. Give them their appeal and in a timely manner, once the appeal is lost, the next day your ass gets juiced.

I think I read in the Arkansas Times that it actually costs less tax money for a Life Sentence than it does for Death Row due to all of the appeals and legal fees, but it does take the enjoyment out of knowing some thug got what was coming to him.

It is time for the people to take over for the justice system.

I agree with Butch and Mikerthebiker; too bad they won't get the death penalty. But then if they did, we'd probably be gone from old age before we saw justice served. Doubt their Maker will be as easy on them as the courts, judges, DA's, et al.

You got that right. If they wanted to kill why didn't they shoot the ones that are fixing to cost us. Themselves.

Well yea! They know they will do time in which they will recieve FREE; 3 meals a day, health care, and room and board for probably the rest of their life all at the expense of the tax payer.
