National Guard called out after winter storm

LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Arkansas National Guard received calls for winter weather support Wednesday morning after heavy amounts of ice and snow blanketed the state Tuesday night.
These initial missions for the Guard include the provision of four-wheel-drive ambulance support to Pulaski and Faulkner Counties.
The missions call for a total of fourteen personnel with seven military ambulances to assist the first responders based at the Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services (MEMS) in Conway, Little Rock and Jacksonville.
