If she made the payments and has proof, then the bank should get off of her ass. If the bank screwed up and "misplaced some of the money" she paid in, the bank should eat crow and move on. But if she didnt make the payments, then foreclosure it is. The idea of making banks go through the court system for foreclosures is kind of good. But with the way the courts are these days, I'd be a little leary of their judgements. Either way, I hope this woman gets things worked out.
