Anne had a good night, she's still in critical condition but signs are stable. The swelling in her brain is beginning to subside. Doctors are encouraged by her progress at this point.

It is still too early too determine the full extent of her injuries.  The family continues to seek your prayers and appreciates your continued consideration of the request for privacy.

New leads

The investigation continues into the brutal attack of KATV Anchor Anne Pressly. There's new information that may point investigators in the direction of who is responsible.

Wednesday afternoon, just after 2pm Little Rock police were at the Shell station at I-30 and 9th street snapping photos and collecting evidence.

"It just looked like they were trying to calculate the imagery," says Shell employee Ricardo Polk.

Clerk Shiva Reddy says police came in Tuesday requesting surveillance video from early Monday morning, the day Pressly was found.

“They [the police] just got the video," Reddy tells us.

If Pressly's attacker was there, Polk says that person may not be on the loose much longer. He says the stores surveillance system scan every area of the store.

"Our surveillance cameras are everywhere," Polk said. "One screen will show 9 different segments and this one when you walk in, shows right here in the store, the back rooms. Inside the garage and stuff like that."

FOX16 News obtained new information Wednesday from two different sources, including an investigator. The Little Rock Police Department urged local media outlets not to report unofficial information. We decided to hold our story for 24-hours to give investigators time to work this latest lead.

I never met Anne or heard of her before this news, but the story touched me deeply. As someone the same age that also lives alone, the story resonated and has since made me become more cautious and aware. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family- this must be her parent's worst nightmare. I hope they find the person who committed this heinous crime and that they are prosecuted to the fullest extent.

I would just like to pass on my deepest heart felt sorroy to her family. Both my wife and I had been saying prayers for her. Unfortunately those prayers will now be for you her family. I will pray that the Lord will help you get through this time of great sorrow. It is hard to imagine how difficult this is for you. I only wish there were more we could say and do.

Good news. First of all that anne had a good night. I pray for her full recovery. And good job on the police and investigators that they are getting close to catching the son of a, you know what, that did this to anne. Whoever did this to her deserves to be locked away and throw the key out. i personally do not know anne, but i believe in prayer, and i know gods hands are with her. i will pray for her everyday.

This is just so strange. They know what time he used the credit card, so it should be simple to find the shot of him at the gas station and publicize it. Why the delay?
