ROGERS, Ark. (AP) — A new $10 million plastics recycling facility is planned for Rogers and the company says it will hire up to 350 workers.

Nextlife Asset Recovery Services announced Wednesday that it will open a headquarters and processing plant and that it will supply several companies with resin that's used to manufacture new consumer plastic items.

The company says it is planning three phases of development. The first will be to collect and sort plastic waste, then it will create production lines to transform the plastic into resin. The third phase will enable Nextlife to establish joint ventures and manufacturing facilities with manufacturers of plastic goods.

The plant will be the second processing facility for Nextlife.

Nextlife is headquartered in Boca Raton, Fla.
