If he had done the same to my wife and I, his felonious aggression would have been met with a much more powerful, high capacity, semi auto long arm, not a mid caliber handgun.

I agree Razorback. Cops like him seem to be becoming the norm, not the exception in small town & city and county law enforcement agencies here in Arkansas.

This cop is a disgrace to the law enforcement profession. Not only that, but he's also a criminal. He should be immediately decertified and never allowed to work in law enforcement ever again anywhere in the USA.

I'd say the cop was real lucky he didn't get his fool head blown off.

This "cop" needs to be locked up. This "officer of the law" has shot a person in Alexander, AR, fired in Shannon Hills for assault, beat an unarmed man in handcuffs in Diamondhead, threatened to shoot children in the neighborhood while they were playing. Lord knows all the other stuff he's gotten away with we don't know about. Fred Ensminger is a shame to all law enforcement that put their life on the line everyday.

At least we know "Barney" wasn't carrying his one bullet in his shirt pocket, because shots were reportedly exchanged, so he got out of his personal vehicle with a loaded weapon. I have to say, if my wife called and said someone was following her on her way home and pulled up in my driveway behind her, I would have been sporting my weapon as well, I wonder who shot first, I suspect "Barney" did!

"Diamondhead Police Chief Pat Mahoney says he doesn't know much about the investigation of the shooting Wednesday evening" A police CHIEF that doesn't know much about the investigation in his own unit. Either it's a cover up or he is mentally disabled.
