LITTLE ROCK, AR - Pulaski County judge Buddy Villines issued an emergency order Monday extending the property deadline for online, phone and mobile payments by 24 hours.

Pulaski County treasurer Debra Buckner told FOX16 News the order was necessary because of the "failure of capacity and performance of the Information Network of Arkansas online payment system that's created extreme hardship for our taxpayers."

The order allows anyone paying property taxes by credit card to do so through midnight October 16 without incurring any late penalties.

Representatives with INA tell FOX16 a server problem has led to the inability to process most online and phone payments by credit card.

INA says 43 of Arkansas' 75 counties use its system to process credit card payments.

As of Monday evening, the following counties were providing an extra 24 hours to complete payment by credit card:

Pulaski, Saline, Faulkner, Grant, Ashley, Calhoun, Craighead, Crawford, Crittenden, Desha, Miller, Poinsett, Randolph, Sebastian, White, Washington, Van Buren & Benton County.
