Some overpass painting through tomorrow means another exit ramp shutdown for the Big Rock Interchange (I-430/I-630) in Little Rock.

Crews will paint beams over the next two days. The work will require closing the southbound Markham Street exit ramp from I-430.

Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department officials say drivers will need to use the Shackleford Road/Hermitage Drive route to get to Markham Street. The southbound Interstate 430 ramp to eastbound Interstate 630 and Shackleford Road/Hermitage Drive will not be affected.

The southbound Markham Street exit ramp closure will continue until 3:00 today. It will resume again Friday at 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
