Parents React To Hijacking On PCSSD Bus

Parents say they are pleased incident ended without injuries.
LITTLE ROCK, AR--  As school dismissed at Pinewood Elementary Thursday afternoon, parents gave their thoughts about the hijacking on a Pulaski County Special School District bus.

"There is some things you can't avoid happening, but thank God everybody is ok and apparently made it out safe," said father Randy Fields.

Jacksonville police say Nicholas Miller took over the bus with a knife and led police on a nine mile chase.

"It's very scary," said parent Tanill Thompson.

Some parents say what happened on the bus is why they choose to drop off their kids at school and pick them up as well.

Despite what happened, parents say they are happy the school sent out a message letting them know about the incident.
