Party Leads To Arrest of Grandmother

Loud party lead to over 40 citations.
LITTLE ROCK, AR- Lonoke County deputies responded to a report of a loud party on Rye Drive in Cabot, ending in the arrest of a woman.

The incident happened Thursday May 9th , around 7:00pm.
The Sheriff's Office says it received several complaints concerning loud music and suspected minors consuming alcohol.

Deputies made contact with an estimated 40 juveniles aged between 17 and 19 years old. Deputies further observed and seized alcohol beverages. Arkansas State Police assisted Deputies at the scene.

An estimated 40 citations were issued at the scene for the offense of; Minor in possession of alcohol.

Deputies say the resident, 74 year old Martha Dubois, became belligerent towards deputies and attempted to pour out a large bottle of an alcoholic beverage.

Dubois was arrested for the offenses of; Contributing to the delinquency of minors and Violation of the host law. Sheriff John Staley said underage drinking will not be tolerated. Anyone allowing teenagers to possess or consume alcohol beverages will be held accountable.

In a phone interview, Dubois stated her age as 68, despite the deputy's report.
