CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Conway police are investigating the death of a person found in a vacant lot.
Officers say customers at a nearby tire store discovered the body after investigating an odor they smelled and called police Friday. Investigators believe the body had been in the lot for about week.
Tire store employees say a car with a California license plate near the body had been parked there unattended for several days.
Police are trying to determine if the car belongs to the victim.
