Petrino phone records reveal 2nd woman?

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Bobby Petrino's phone records show consistent communication with a number once registered to a local model, Republican staffer, and college student named Alison Melder.

The call log shows Petrino and Melder exchanged 19 text messages the Monday after the Arkansas-New Mexico game, 24 times the Sunday before the Alabama game, and more than 100 other times throughout last season.

The record also shows on Sunday, September 25th, there was an exchange at 11:18 in the morning with Melder. Just a few minutes later at 11:33, messages are sent between Petrino and Jessica Dorrell. She is the woman with whom he admits engaging in an inappropriate relationship.

Since 2011, Melder has been working part time with the Arkansas Republican party. But Thursday, the party confirms her employment is under review.

Leave this poor man and his family alone. He's lost enough already and has apologized to the nation. We are all humans and we have all amde mistakes in our own lives. Yes if you live under the media and an eye of the community you really need to make better decisions. Either way we need to leave these people alone so they can move on. I hope this doesn't get worse for him. We as people can only handle so much humiliation even if its self inflicted. How many other coaches, how many other politicians and government officials are doing the same...should we see your phone records and start reporting what you do in your personal life?

Can someone please give an educated guess of how long this clown circus will continue? I mean come on now, havent the media beat this dead horse long enough? The man wrecked his carrier,marriage,and is fired.Do we really have to hear the rest? Look I'm a transplant from Louisiana, and even though the Saints needed a fill in for this season, this mental midget Bobby Petrino was NOT even considered.

Look like the next Coach will have to buy a pay as you go phone so he can throw it into the lake when he gets caught doing something. Question Jeff Long should we look into your phone records and see who you have been chatting with? We are all human and make mistakes so stop digging you have already fired him.
