Steve, the man who risked his life to go back in and stop anyone else from being shot is a hero and should be treated as such. Why isn't his part in this being picked up by the national news? Is it because the media refuses to show gun-owners in a positive light?

dhdbest::::Unfortunately the more the people that are in the know and that are in charge try to end racism and bigotry the worse it gets, why is that?

although to my knowledge I did not know this lady, but I DO KNOW the greif in which the family and the children are going to face. I KNOW TIS FIRST HAND! My mother may she rest in peace was shot and killed in her sleep we finally found out by the man she had married just a year and 17 days earlier. This family is going to have to go through what my sister and I and our families have gone through for the past 16 yrs, 6 months and 5 days. It is a crime to the families to have to relive this every day over and over then go to court and hear the gruesome details of their loved ones demise. Then to top it off if and WHEN the guilty party is found guilty by either verdict or summary judgement......comes the sentencing phase and the victim impact. PLEASE DONT FORGET THE VICTIM IMPACT. YOU THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS LET THE PROSECUTOR KNOW YOU WANT IN ON THIS!!!!!!!!!!! This is where the family and friends of the victim, gets to address the court, juror and public about their feelings on the the subject and what you think needs to be done and how it has affected your life. It also lets you let the jury "KNOW" the person who was taken from you. Many time the victims protection will not allow you or tell you that this is your RIGHT as you are a VICTIM ALSO!!!!! once this is all said and done and time is served, you will get letters beginning about 1/3 of the sentence that the person is coming up for parole and if you want to you can come and protest it in Little Rock. DO IT !!!!!!! BE THERE BE IN THE BAROLE BOARDS FACE!!!!!! or they will walk!!!!!! that is a political game the governor all the way to the attorney general is involved especially if it is an election year. and they KNOW they are not gonna be re-elected that is how 4 cops were killed in Washington State, the murderer that OUR governor let go KILLED THEM he was given a complete pardon and had been in jail all of his life. These people who serve on the board have never had an incident like this hit home......

My heart goes out to LaTange's children. I know her personally and pray GOD has his rightful place in her life. Crime isn't about a city everyone - it is about people that is why it can happen anywhere and anytime. Keep GOD First!

It did happen in Pine Bluff "Taboo". You don't cross into White Hall until you pass the industrial park. But you're right crime is everywhere. I worked there for 6 years and there was always a problem between employees. Including bad blood that mgmt most certainly knew about between these two women. There were numerous times they were at each others throats and taken up front because of it. Central Moloney is lying when they say they have never known of a problem between them. It's just a sav our butt routine. "Lillie" the girl that did the shooting has already been accused of murder sometime ago when she shot and killed her husband but got off on a self defense charge. Kind of hard to defend yourself when you're six feet under. Now she has struck again, killing such a sweet person and leaving two small children without a mother. Latange you will be sorely missed and I love you girl. This morning sent me back to my wedding where we all danced our butts off, the friendship you gave to me, the talks we had in the press dept. RIP...God has you in his hands now.

dhdbest; Your last sentence says it all. Grow up people however... And Crime is everywhere! Signs of the times! Crime has been around since Adam's boys got into it, and it will always be with us. And crime will always cross racial boundaries, and will always be committed by people of all races and religions. Look at the news today concerning Iraq. We've moved troops out of areas, and Muslums are back to killing each other again. Sad. And to the others; I do believe that Pulaski County, and the cities inside it, have Pine Bluff beat when it comes to crime. Every city, every state, every race; they all have too much of it.

as tragic as this is, at least the shooter didn't take out several other people. There are a lot of sickos in this world who seem to be acting on their sick feelings way too quickly and just go out and do whatever they feel like...It's probably b/c they know the consequences of their actions won't be all that bad.. They'll get a nice jail cell, 3 squares a day, "counseling", satellite tv and free health care. They won't get the death penalty if they get a plea deal, even if they do get the death penalty, they'll die in prison from some other ailment called old age.. and far too many times, thy are released from prison long before their sentence is up..
