Police: Man shot wife three times then committed suicide

PINE BLUFF, AR – A shooting at the Parkview Apartments Wednesday morning in Pine Bluff has been ruled a suicide.

Police say Tyrone Adair, 43, shot his wife Treva Adair, 39, three times before turning the gun on himself. Police say Treva attempted to call 911 prior to being shot and called again afterward.

Police say the apartment was locked from the inside and they had to break into it to get to Treva. Police say there is no indication that anyone else besides Tyrone and Treva was in the apartment at the time of the shooting.

Treva was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. He current condition is unknown.
