Libertarian; Yes, we permit holders know the law. Still, a hollow point to the head would have prevented him from stealing again! XWildOne; Yes, we permit holders know the law; read the rest. golfdude2; I don't care for golf, unless we are talking miniature golf, and I'm not real good at that; could hit a hard ball pretty well when I was a lad though. No, I'm more into watching my Yankees and Raiders in my old age; but I just have to say, you sir are allright in my book; and as always, right on the mark.

The Conceal To Carry Course clearly states, "If the perp is retreating and is no longer a threat, you can not shoot him". So, this will be intersting to see what happens.

threat, not treat.

As much as it pains me to say it, just grabbing some pills from behind the counter is not robbery. If there was no treat of physical violence, then the owner nor anyone else was justified in shooting at the thief. EVERY PERMIT HOLDER and shop keep SHOULD KNOW THIS.

Good for the owner! More store clerks are arming themselves so the creeps who rob them had better watch out.

open eys; I agree. More time on the range wouldn't hurt either. Me, I've had over 50 years of practice since Dad gave me my first gun at age 8; I can hit moving targets easily, with handgun or rifle; too bad the owner couldn't!

That isn't really Col. Glenn, that's Asher renamed as such to try to clean up the area. I hope the perp was shot, good for the owner, but next time don't wound him... Center mass x 3!!!
