Police: Suspects identified in Metropolitan Bank robbery

Police have identified the man and the woman suspected of robbing the Metropolitan Bank on Cantrell Wednesday.

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Police have identified the man and the woman suspected of robbing the Metropolitan Bank on Cantrell Wednesday.

Warrants have been issued for 24-year-old Jerry Lamar Johnson and 42-year-old Angela Richardson. Police say Johnson should be considered armed and dangerous. He is described as being 6’2” tall, 300 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Johnson’s last known address is 324 Nebling Road in Little Rock. Police say he may be travelling in a 2002 white Chevy Malibu or a green Chevy Tahoe.

Richardson turned herself in to detectives at 6:15pm Thursday, according to police.

Police say the bank, located at 7401 Cantrell Road, was robbed around 2:58pm by a man and a woman. According to the report, the woman sprayed a teller in the face with pepper spray and the man had a handgun and told everyone inside to lie on the floor.
