Shortly before midnight on Friday, the Pine Bluff Police Department responded to an accident at the intersection of Hepburn and Larch Streets in reference to a pedestrian that was hit by a car.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of Clayton Ento, 39, laying on the side of the roadway.
Mr. Ento was not breathing and unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:10 a.m. Saturday.
A nearby resident heard the collision and observed a Blue Cadillac STS leaving the scene at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle did not stop and continued east on Hepburn Street.
No suspect has been identified. Police are currently searching for the Blue Cadillac STS.
