LITTLE ROCK, AR – Sheridan Police are investigating a double stabbing that happened Monday around 6:45p at the apartment complex on 1000 North Red Street.

Police say the two victims were flown to Little Rock, one to Baptist the other to UAMS, due to the severity of their wounds.

Witnesses tell police that the two victims were assailants in a home invasion, armed with a hammer and a pocket knife, and that the homeowner was able to arm themselves with a knife for defense.

However, police note that the investigation is ongoing and they have not yet been able to interview the victims to talk about what happened.

Don't include me in your (the rest of you). All I had to say is that all I knew is what was released to the public. As most of us knew. So please would you just direct you comment to those that need it. I need you not.

ARYankee...valid point about the wrong weapons for home invasion. Everyone else.. I DO NOT know the facts but I do know when two loved ones are fighting for their lives it's wrong to report statements that are merely one sided. The others were not able to be interviewed therefore it is a biased report. Another paper reported the story well by saying the clear facts, and investigation is underway. It was very tasteful to all parties involved. To the rest of you- I guess you're the narrow minded that believe everything you read. Glad I could have your attention anyway.

Obama & his people think all the killing will stop if guns are taken away. But this is just proof people will use whatever they can get their hands on, even baseball bats 2x4`s vehicles ETC.

Gotta see if they had a license for the hammer and was it registered and properly taxed. Them little martians are ruining it for all the law abiding hammer owners.

As a family member of the, as you call them, "victims" you are obviously biased in your remarks. I'll wait on your accurate report...........

I'm not Webster but I'll try to cover it. White people that could care less about the trashy life they live. Also white complainers that can't accept the fact that in breaking news all that can be reported is what the police release to the news. That's the best I can do today.

DJ: Since your a family member of the victims in the hospital, why dont you tell us the facts since the truth is not presently reported.

DJ: All we have ( on this site ) is a report of witnesses saying it was a home invasion. That's all I have to go by as I do not visit the other news outlets online. I tried, but they want you to be a Twit or Facebook; and I do neither. Anyway, it's inane to attempt a home invasion with a hammer and a knife with all the gun owners in this state! I know many people if put in this situation ( home invasion with a hammer and knife ); the perps would not have gone to the hospital - they would have been sent to the morgue!
