PINE BLUFF, AR – A police obtained search warrant lead to a drug bust involving a 65-year-old man, authorities say.

At approximately 3:10 p.m. on February 28th, 2011, detectives with the Pine Bluff Vice and Narcotics Division, along with investigators from the Tri-County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence located at the intersection of 2nd and Sycamore Street.

Upon arrival, detectives found the suspect, 65-year-old Leroy White standing in the back of the residence, and detained him.

After searching the residence, detectives uncovered several clear plastic bags believed to contain cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana, a .25 caliber handgun, a set of postal scales, a dice table with green cover and dice cup. $18,968.50 in cash along with documents in White’s name, and $472.00 in cash on White’s person.

White was transported to jail and held on probable cause for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, and possession of drug paraphernalia, with formal charges pending.
