RUSSELLVILLE, AR -- Law enforcement agencies have charged another man with battery, and four other people with hindering apprehension in connection to a Saturday afternoon stabbing.

According to the Pope County Sheriff's Office (PCSO), 18-year-old Kevin Long was arrested and charged with first-degree battery shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday.

James Allen, 27, was arrested and taken to Pope County Jail on Saturday in connection to the stabbing.

PCSO also arrested 37-year-old Jonathan Gunn, 55-year-old Ronnie Cummings, Sr., 26-year-old Ronnie Cummings, Jr. and 37-year-old Katherine Hardcastle for hindering apprehension.

Hardcastle was also charged with criminal impersonation.

Bond for each of the individuals was set at $100,000.

RUSSELLVILLE, AR -- Investigators with the Pope County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) are gathering information after an apparent stabbing occurred Friday afternoon.

PCSO says the apparent stabbing incident occurred at 2:15 Friday afternoon near Bradley Cove Road, sending a victim to St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.

Arkansas State Police, Russellville Police Department and the Pope County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene. The incident is currently under investigation.
