Popular Tex-Mex Restaurant Coming to Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- A new restaurant will be opening in Little Rock this May.

According to the "Chuy's Little Rock" Facebook page, the popular Tex-Mex restaurant will be opening a location on Chenal Parkway in the Capitol City.

The restaurant boasts its authentic Tex-Mex and fun atmosphere that will include outdoor seating.

According to the Chuy's website, the Little Rock location is scheduled to open May 7.

Chuy's is just another place to have. Only thing special is you can watch them make your tortilla. Big deal. Taste is no different than what you get at On The Border.

guzzler I agree as well. We need more diverse restaurant choices. Another thing I noticed is that food prices are much higher here in Little Rock than in other much larger cities. I was in Chicago a few months ago and went to a pizza place called Lou Malnatti's and ordered an italian beef sandwich. It was so big and stuffed with so much meat that I could barely eat it all. I got back here a week or so later and decided to go to a local pizza place on Rodney Parham and ordered a sandwich. It had virtually no meat and came with a bag if chips and a pickle spear. I paid a dollar more here than in Chicago and got much less food. That's why I rarely eat out now unless I'm in a different city.

Little Rock needs another Tex-Mex like we need another Seafood place down here in the Gulf
