Power outage in southwest Little Rock

A blown transformer has cut power to about 1,800 customers in southwest Little Rock.
LITTLE ROCK, AR – A blown transformer has cut power to about 1,800 customers in southwest Little Rock. Entergy crews are on scene trying to restore power.

The power company says that a transformer blew-up at the Hindman sub-station. While investigating the outage, crews found power lines down in the area as well. It is not known if the problem was related to the storm or not.

The Entergy website now says power will be restored by 10pm.
