Prosecutor seeking death penalty in Bridgeman murder

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Benton County prosecutor Van Stone says he plans to seek the death penalty against the man accused of killing 6-year-old Jersey Bridgeman.

On Monday, Zachary Holly was arraigned in circuit court and pleaded not guilty to charges of capital murder, kidnapping, rape, and burglary.

The next hearing in the case is scheduled for February 28th.

itsjustme; How right you are. I'm sitting here wondering how they are going to give him the death penalty, if convicted, when we don't have one in AR at the present time. Let's get with it State Legislature!

Seeking the death penalty is only a small step. If this state would actually carry it out, things would be better.

Seeking the death penalty.... Thats a step in the wright direction. I hope every one that is selected for the jury is also following this story. That little bstrd needs to be extracted from the gene pool. Oh!!! By the way.... Benton County Prosecutor V.S. Good plan and good luck on getting it done. It's good to hear some one with a little clout wanting to exterminate this cockroach.
