What are referred to here as union "demands" are not unreasonable at all. We want to keep, for example, our right to not have anonymous complaints used against us, for those could be simply made up -- and this right costs nothing. We also wanted our superintendent to take a pay cut himself (he collects $215,000 + benefits), but he refused to do so, despite the claim we are in "fiscal distress." We petitioned Gov. Beebe, and he did not respond. Now, we are petitioning Congress for a nationwide cut to administrators' salaries. You may find the petition here. Please read it, and, if you agree, sign and share it. Thank you. http://www.change.org/petitions/the-c-a-p-education-reform-proposal-save-america-s-schools-by-cutting-administrators-pay-with-federal-legislation
