FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - University of Arkansas head coach John L. Smith has suspended senior linebacker Terrell Williams following Williams' arrest for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

The 21-year-old Williams was arrested by Fayetteville police early Sunday for DWI and driving left of center. He was later released on $910 bail.

A working phone number for Williams could not be located. He is due in court Monday morning.

Williams is a Tulsa, Okla., native who was credited with seven tackles in Arkansas' 19-15 win over Tulsa on Saturday.

He's the seventh member of the football team to have been arrested since March. A former player whose eligibility expired at the end of last season was also arrested during that time.

Smith said in a statement that he's "disappointed" and that Williams is suspended indefinitely.

Statement from Coach John L. Smith

“I am very disappointed in the decisions made by Terrell Williams. He did not represent himself or the University of Arkansas in a manner we expect and has been suspended indefinitely. We have high expectations for the actions of everyone in our program on and off the field, and our student-athletes will be held accountable.”

Wow. The Hogs are even worse than we thought (if that is even possible). If the team is celebrating a 4 point win over Tulsa (that's TULSA folks), then they don't deserve to be ranked in the top 100.

Wow, who's going to be next? Why don't they just suspend the whole team and replace them with a High School team? Apparently no one on the team this year cares about being a member of the Razorbacks or they wouldn't be action like Grade School kids.

Here's a question...who out there could totally abstain from alcohol & drugs in exchange for 4 years (maybe 5) of free college plus expenses?

Or could it be just another over pampered DA.

Too much celebrating after beating Tulsa? Or worried about the next 3 games against ranked teams?
