Fayetteville Police arrested a Ft. Smith woman Friday after finding 10 pounds of marijuana hidden in her car.

According to an arrest report, 53-year-old Phanomphone Lakhiaminh appeared to be very nervous after being stopped near the intersection of I-540 and Martin Luther King Blvd. for erratic driving. The officer noted Lakhiaminh's hands were shaking and she was repeatedly tapping her thighs and tugging on her shirt.

Lakhiaminh gave the officer consent to search her black Lexus SUV. During the search the officer found a sleeping bag in the back filled with 10 separate vacuum sealed bags containing what they later estimated to be approximately 10 pounds of marijuana.

Lakhiaminh was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with purpose and taken to Washington County Jail.
