LITTLE ROCK, AR - Dianne Curry and Tanya Dixon may have a runoff election for the Little Rock School Board Zone 7 position.

The incumbent Curry was very close to receiving a majority of the votes, with 49.89%. Curry’s camp says they have been advised that there are still some military ballots outstanding, and those absentee ballots have 10 days to be counted.

Due to low voter turnout (only 437 votes were cast), Curry could conceivably obtain a majority with just two additional votes.

If a runoff was held, it would be held in 3 weeks.

In the other contested LRSD school board seat, Zone 6, Michael “Pete” Peterson defeated Laveta Wills-Hale, 60%-40%.

There is a 100% chance that both of these candidates are corrupt. LRSD is a mess.

If there is a runoff, voters in that zone who care about the survival of LRSD should vote for whoever John Walker did NOT endorse.
