LITTLE ROCK, AR - So-called 'selfie' photos have led Little Rock Police to a suspect in a stolen smartphone case.

Jarvis D. "JT" Terry, 19, of Little Rock was arrested Tuesday night at a home on Adams Street. He's being held on $2,500 bond, charged with criminal mischief and theft by receiving. Police say those charges are not related to the stolen phone but they are looking for evidence to charge him in that case.

Police say the criminal mischief charge is related to an attempted ATM machine break-in at the Centennial Bank on Rodney Parham Road back in September.

Terry is also suspected in the theft of a man's car back in November. The vehicle had been left running outside a store on Fair Park Blvd. according to the police report. The car's owner reported his iPhone and wallet were also inside the car.

Terry's arrest affidavit lists him as unemployed.

He's scheduled to appear in court on April 3rd.

The owner of the smartphone reported it stolen in early March after he was mugged in the Broadmoor neighborhood off University Avenue. Last week, we reported on the photos the suspect took of himself that turned up in the owner's Dropbox account, to which the phone was linked.
