LITTLE ROCK, AR - Senator Jeremy Hutchinson received a warning and a fine of $500 from the Arkansas Ethics Commission for taking campaign funds as personal income. Hutchinson reported himself to the commission.

The complaint centered on two checks drawn on Hutchinson's campaign account which were deposited in his then-girlfriend's personal bank account shortly after the 2010 general election, according to documents released by the commission.

The commission also cited Hutchinson for failing to accurately disclose spending on campaign finance records.

It's called audet... It was getting ready to come out anyway. He just went on and came clean with it. You know with the hope to save any chance to maintain an office. Maybe we can all see how honest he is and all. Good luck Hutch. Won't be long you'll be looking like the Pine Bluff police cheif. OUTTY 5000!!!!

Its good that he reported it himself. BUT. Why did he do it in the first place, knowing it was wrong and why is he just now reporting it?
