Wanted for failing to register as a sex offender
U.S Marshals have arrested another one of Arkansas' Most Wanted. Thanks to a FOX16 viewer, authorities arrested 43-year-old Jimmy Bowman Monday morning for failing to register as a sex offender.

Marshals say Bowman was found living in a bus on dead end road across from Oak Grove Elementary School in North Little Rock.

Saline County detectives have tried to find Bowman for four months after they say he failed to register as a sex offender. He was convicted of sexually abusing a child in 1997 and authorities say he hasn’t been compliant since.

According to the Arkansas Crime Information Center, there are about 6,000 registered sex offenders in the state. As of Monday night, about 1200 are delinquent in their registration and there are 344 with unknown addresses.

A sex offender is required by law to notify local law enforcement within 10 days after moving.
