U.S Marshals have arrested another one of Arkansas' Most Wanted. Thanks to a FOX16 viewer, authorities arrested 43-year-old Jimmy Bowman Monday morning for failing to register as a sex offender.

Marshals say Bowman was found living in a bus on dead end road across from Oak Grove Elementary School in North Little Rock.

Saline County detectives have tried to find Bowman for four months after they say he failed to register as a sex offender. He was convicted of sexually abusing a child in 1997 and authorities say he hasn’t been compliant since.

According to the Arkansas Crime Information Center, there are about 6,000 registered sex offenders in the state. As of Monday night, about 1200 are delinquent in their registration and there are 344 with unknown addresses.

A sex offender is required by law to notify local law enforcement within 10 days after moving.

Jaysgirl is in fact is his wife, Donna Bowman, so yeah she has been with him the entire time. Which right now at this point she don't even really care because she is sleeping with another. She is waiting for him to go to jail. As for the school yeah it is just one block from where he was found.

Jaysgirl...I am sure that the US Marshal's would not have been so involved if DHS and prosecutors "were just making this up" and were so wrong in "scaring" him into confessing! Bull crap, it takes a Judge to sentence a person. Our agency works when sex offenders and the percentage rate of reoffending is 97%. Unless you are Jimmy or have been with him 24-7 for the entire time since he was convicted, YOU CANNOT GUARANTEE HE HAS NOT DONE THIS AGAIN.

I agree with everyone here except the idiot "jaysgirl". He should have done what the courts told him to do. What was he so afraid of? SCARED, and just how did they scare the poor puke that abuses children? Throw his butt under the jail and let him rot!

ARHarleyRider - 11/17/2009 2:03 PM
jaysgirl.? hmm Jimmy starts with a J.....First of all, everyone is right, he DIDN'T follow the courts ORDER and register,Second.. the dhs and prosecutor SCARED him into pleading guilty???? IF he was innocent how did they "scare" him? MAYBE they showed him their evidence...I ,Mean, come on, I'm NOT confessing to a crime I didn't commit,BUT,if they had evidence and I was guilty, then I might confess....All I can really say is....I'm glad they got him and that just helps keep my kids a little safer.

Hey jaysgirl, I'm some one who know Jimmy very well. Haven't seen him in years , we grew up together and went to school together in Osceola. The problem is that no matter how messed up the previous charges may be, the fact that he's been convicted as a sex offender and not been following the courts instructions(to register)well that's something he'll have to deal with. The fact that I have two small children and knowing that he could do something like this to possibly one of my babies............It's a good thing for him to be in jail, that's all I'm gonna say

njastrzebski - 11/17/2009 8:25 AM
What does that matter at this point jaysgirl? What other reasons do you need to take this loser off the street if he can't do what he is suppose to do for the one crime he "did" commit!! So what if he was not really next door to a school, he did not register as a sex offender and that is what the issue is here. You talk like you know this guy or something. I feel sorry for you if you do!

jaysgirl - 11/17/2009 7:54 AM
Ok...Here are ome more of the FACTS.....the dhs office and prosecutor that originally convicted him are under investigation themselves for scaring men into pleading guilty to sexually assault crimes..in the eleven years since his conviction he has not a single charge for a crime against a child.

If this guy was wanted sex offender by the police, I don't care what the media is or is not telling the public. He needs to be off the streets and away from our children. Thank you to the US Marshals for getting this guy off the streets and making our area a little safer.

hoppersjj - 11/17/2009 1:35 AM
Well I want to hear the true story not just the parts that they want to tell the public. The police or some of them only tell what they want to! It is not always the truth.

choncha - 11/16/2009 10:00 PM
ok, and why are you pointing out such unimportant facts ? He is a wanted sex offender and they found him. Thats all I want to hear. Kuddos to everyone who was involved in taking him down. And jaysgirl, stick to the facts that matter !
