Sure are a lot of those two legged people deer running loose this year. Did the man doing the shooting say if he saw a buck or doe? Nothing on here saying if the deceased man was wearing orange or not. Maybe Congress should get involved and see if the man doing the shooting is a veteran that is deemed too mentally incompetent to handle his own finances so they can take away his gun rights. Stupid just can't be fixed if stupid keeps breeding.

One this is for sure, You dont shoot at just something moving !! You are suppose to see exactly what you are shooting at , God rest this mans soul!! This is what gives hunting a bad name !!

This is not a hunting mishap, it is MURDER. You are supposed to 'positively' identify what you are shooting at.

what a dummy...I think he deserves some prison time..Let him be an example to all the other idiots out there who might want to shoot at an unidentified target...but, hunting or not, if I go into the woods during deer season, I'm wearing orange..Better to be safe than dead. It's pathetic how idiots like that make a case for the anti-gun establishment...heart goes out to the Sears family.

Got to love the Dickey Chaney excuse to shoot a man "Hunting Accident". If you are shooting in the brush at a unidentifiable object you probably shouldn't own a gun to begin with.
