NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - 31-year-old Jermaine Smith has died after being shot last night in North Little Rock.

Smith was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.

Original Story:

North Little Rock Police are investigating a shooting that happened Friday night near 18th and Pike.

Police say male victim was shot at least one time and was taken to UAMS in critical condition. Police did not immediately know where the victim was shot, but he was found outside.

@ Nekeithra or OnlyG0dCnJgeMe....my condolences for your loss. Forgive me for asking, but I'm trying to figure out who this is. Without putting too much info on here, I believe his middle name begins with an "L". Met him 2 weeks ago at CS. Prayers being lifted up for friends/family.

jermaine has family kids and a woman y sumone choose to end his life i dont know? i just want them caught and punished. even thou its not gone bring my man back. i love u jermaine yours truely nekeithra
