LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — A federal judge has granted a request by both sides to dismiss an Arkansas man's lawsuit against Ticketmaster in which he claimed the company charged excessive fees.

U.S. District Judge James Moody on Tuesday ruled that the case cannot be refiled.

Arkadelphia resident Corey McMillan sued Ticketmaster after he was charged almost $50 in fees for tickets to a country music concert. He claimed the fees violated the state's law against deceptive trade practices.

McMillan sought the dismissal because he is joining the settlement of a similar lawsuit in Los Angeles.

Lawyers for Ticketmaster and McMillan jointly asked for the Arkansas case to be dismissed. Last month, Moody halted the lawsuit pending the outcome of the case in Los Angeles.
