Simmons Bank Robbed in the Heights

LITTLE ROCK, AR – The Simmons Bank at 1818 Taylor Street was robbed Friday afternoon.

Police say the suspect walked into the bank around 1:16pm, told the teller he had a gun, and left with an undisclosed amount of money. Police describe the suspect as being between 5’8” and 5’10” tall, with shaggy hair and facial hair. The suspect was wearing a red t-shirt over a white t-shirt and a black hat.

Nobody was injured during the robbery.
