As long as they're old enough, a child of mine will monitor their own blood sugar and give themselves insulin shots without the stupid school nurse standing over them. No school whether public or private will interfere in their health and well being.

They have been making insulin pumps for years. And any kid 10 yrs and older should be taking care of their own bloodsugar and test, yes even giving themselves insulin shots.
