STAMPS, Ark. (AP) — Authorities say a south Arkansas man fatally shot himself as federal agents tried to serve a warrant at his home.

Special agents with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations agency went to a home in Stamps on Wednesday to serve the warrant.

Agency spokesman Bryan Cox says the agents heard a single gunshot before entering the home. The man was taken to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where he was pronounced dead.

Cox tells the Texarkana Gazette that agents were serving a warrant to seize a thumb drive that allegedly contained images of child pornography.

I can not believe what I am reading. We don't even know the full story and you guys say a man killing himself, did the world a favor. Regardless of what you think about him, we all SIN and can only be judged by our Father in Heaven. Do you all live in Glass Houses? Lord Help us if someone was to throw a stone at your house. Think of his family and friends and community that is left behind! Chris was a very caring man. What demons he had is not ours to judge. God Rest his soul and finally give him peace.

I agree with every post so far (excluding @miniahha's "protect the guilty and not the victims brand of injustice). @charlie c - I was wondering if I was the only one who caught the fact that this guy was most likely an illegal to boot. Yep, real quality people sneaking across the boarder to live off of the US taxpayers.

Has anyone put together..."U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations agency" serving a warrant for a pervert? I am happy he did the world a favor but I think a few missing pieces of this puzzle are missing or untold!!!!!!

Apparently the guy knew he was guilty and did us all a favor. If he was innocent and did nothing wrong, he would have went along and tried to prove his innocence.

Guzzler, Apparently you don't live in the United States - where people are innocent until proven guilty. Serving a warrant does not constitute guilt. He may very well be guilty, but until all of the facts are in, don't assume that he is guilty with comments about saving tax money and oxygen. The next warrant may be for you. How would you like to have the people of this state assuming you are already guilty?
