Little Rock police tell FOX16 a state representative's wife was rushed to the hospital after being seriously injured in a car crash. She is currently in serious condition.

Investigators say someone hit the car of Representative Roy Ragland and his wife Gayla at 8:20 Monday night on Chester and 6th Street and then drove off. We're told she's being treated at UAMS and was in the passenger side of the car.

Little Rock police are looking for a late model white Chevy Tahoe with heavy damage to the driver's side.

If you have any information, call police.

Rep. Ragland was not hurt. He is from Marshall, Arkansas.
